What Should You Do In Case Of An Emergency?
The well-being of our patients is our number one priority and we would like to take the time to inform our clients what to do should they find themselves in need of emergency treatment for their pet.
In Case Of An Emergency:
Because some situations may require 24 hour monitoring that emergency hospitals are better equipped and better staffed to provide, we ask that you call the office at (757) 547-9421 during normal business hours and speak to one of our knowledgeable licensed veterinary technicians to discuss the signs and symptoms your pet may be exhibiting. This will allow us to determine if the situation needs to be directed to an emergency hospital and help save time getting the needed care for your pet.
Office Hours – Medical and technical staff are on duty:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Tuesday & Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
One Saturday/month
8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Continuous medical care beyond office hours is not provided.
We do our very best to provide needed treatment to all of our patients during an emergency situation. However, depending on the severity of the emergency, the time of day, and our staffing schedule, it is difficult to guarantee that we can accommodate every emergency/trauma.
